February 7, 2017 - Skier Injured in Granite Canyon
On February 7, 2017 at approximately 1328 hours Teton Interagency Dispatch Center (TIDC) received notification of an injured skier with lower leg injuries in Granite Canyon inside Grand Teton National Park. Ski Patrollers from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Teton National Park Rangers initiated a coordinated response to evacuate the victim out of Granite Canyon by rescue toboggan and snowmobile.
